This
is one of our prettiest native trees.It has beautiful pinkish-white
flowers in the springtime and these are followed by hanging cherries.
It can be difficult to see and collect cherries from the trees,
because our birds love to eat them and usually get to them all
first! The wood from the cherry tree is very decorative and is
often used in woodturning and furniture making.
